This kete drum is small enough to be easily carried around at the park or while camping. TRENCH DRUMS, a Japanese manufacturer and distributor of kete drums, transformed waste cargo pallets into kete drums.
The Kete drum was born in Jamaica and is closely related to reggae music. It is a drum used in the "Nyabinghi" gatherings of "Rastafarianism," a nostalgic ideological movement. Its rough, primitive appearance is said to be modeled after the African drums of their homeland. The heartbeat, a rhythm unique to Nyabinghi, can also be heard in Bob Marley's "Rastaman Chant." Try hitting this drum with the groove that flows inside you. You will surely hear the resonance of your soul.
